Laser eye surgery: Jamarcus Russell?

So I thought that I had posted this the other day, but I can't find the thread anywhere.

I heard on a local sports talk radio show that Jamarcus had laser eye surgery the other day.

Does anybody else know anything about this?

Happened right after OTA's it was lasex. It has been a month +.

Yeah, that's probably a really good thing.

I know that my uncle had it done and swears by it.

Maybe Russell will be ten times as acurate.

I used to love watching the mid 80's Bears games. Mike Singletary would always lose his contacts because he hit people with his eyes wide open. They would stop the games so they could search the grass or turf.

How much does that procedure cost?

I looked into lasic and there are definite possibilities that your eyesight can become worse after the procedure. Plus, since it is a relatively new procedure there isn't any proof of the lasting effects. They aren't sure that 30 years from now your eyesight won't deteriorate faster than normal eyes. I don't think that as a professional athelete it's a good idea to risk your eyesight at all.

lol, ya no sh*t, he should have signed before he got this done, but I wonder if this plays even a small part in why we have been holding out, because the dissagreement seems to be over the guaranteed money. Sometimes those surgeries don't go as well as you would think.
