PATS IN THE MIX FOR MOSS?

Despite an offseason in which the team acquired three receivers via trade and free agency, the Patriots have spoken with the Raiders regarding a trade for receiver Randy Moss, according to David White of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Though we heard earlier in the day that a deal for Moss is done, White reports (citing a team source) that "[n]othing's been finalized."

White's report corroborates rumors that the Raiders have been shopping Moss for a second-round pick.

Moss is owed a base salary of $9.75 million in 2007 and $11.25 million in 2008. None of the money is guaranteed, but the salary for a given year becomes guaranteed if Moss is on the opening-day roster.

I'm willing to trade Moss, but NOT TO THE PATRIOTS, he'll be playing his balls off for them considering they have probably the best shot of anybody to win the Super Bowl next year. And I can just imagine the bandwagon-jumping Patriot trolls that come here to brag about them having MORE Super Bowls than us, I can just imagine it now

Please Mr. Davis, don't send Moss to the Patsies.

I hate the gaytriots more than any other team (that's not in the AFC West). Please don't send him there Al because if by some fcked up chance he has a good year I will never hear the end of it.

Plus I doubt this will happen since they are fckn loaded at WR and I doubt Belichek (sp) wants a cancer in his locker.
