Receiver Mike Williams and quarterback Josh McCown were conspicuously absent from the Lions' first off-season practice Tuesday. Though McCown has been supportive in his backup role, he wants to move on now. The Raiders are interested in trading for him, adding intrigue to the upcoming NFL draft. -- Detroit Free Press

McCown and Williams and their #2 for our #1 would be pretty sweet IMO. But they probably have no need to trade up.

They better give up more than that. Those guys aren't worth the difference in picks. But you're right, they are looking to move down, not up, I think.

A better trade would be both players staight up for a 4th or Moss and a 6th for both players and their 2nd.

That is not enough to move back from #1. While Detroit may not want the #1 pick themselves, it is very valuable and they would certainly do a deal like that if they could and move up to #1. Then they would probably auction off that pick to a team like Tampa Bay who really wants Calvin Johnson and receive extra picks.

They are being fitted for their pro-cut jerseys and getting their specs on hos they like their equipment in Oakland....

They'll probably just cut Williams, he's worth nothing on the trade market and McCown is worth a 5th rounder, no way we trade out of the top spot for two career backups

Should just swap a six for a seventh for them. They would have the first two picks in the sixth round and we would have the first two in the seventh round. Seems fair to me.
