Tory James: A Raider...again?

Yesterday on NFL total access Schefter was talking about McCown being acquired from the Lions for a 5th round pick and then said that Tory James (CB) is considering teams like GB, the Pats, some others and...possibly returning to the Raiders.

If signed he may take Stark's role. He has the experience and can still contribute at a good level. He has been consistent in recent years and has always gotten his fair share of TOs. Probably more expensive than league minimum though.

I always liked Tory James. He went to LSU when I was there and had one of the greatest interceptions I ever saw against Auburn on the last play of the game.

It is a one year minimum with no guaranteed money from what I saw. He is good for camp, but he can still be easily cut before the season.

McCown for a fifth. Tory James back, I hope we get him.

This all points to us taking Calvin Johnson #1. McCown will be our back-up and Walter will start. It also points to Detroit taking JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn number 2. This is just my speculation of course.

hes lost a step and never had great speed to begin with. i liked him when he was here but imo all he would be doing is taking playing time from routt.
