Offer them a 4th this year and next if he can pass a physical. I was totally against Culpepper coming here but due to current circumstances I am getting desperate. McCown, Fiedler, other losers mentioned

Not only no, but hell no.
Having Culpepper and Moss on the same team with a new young head coach would be setting him up for failure. Everyone from the team to the press would be second guessing as soon as they did not put up spectacular numbers... IMO both have lost a step over the last couple of years, both have been injured and are aging, and will not be able to put up those same type of numbers. We need to look to the future, not the past. |

NO, Culpepper is not the answer we are looking for. His knee still has been troublesome and if I remember correctly he and Moss didn't part on the best of terms.
I know that when healthy Culpepper was a hell of a QB for a few years, but for a mobile QB to suffer the kind of knee injury he did, I don't know if he will ever be the same.

Culpepper is an injury prone QB whose glory days ended a couple of seasons ago.
