I didn't see this posted anywhere it is from Rotoworld.com


ESPN's John Clayton reports the Raiders have entered trade talks with the Lions concerning backup quarterback Josh McCown.

McCown has a big arm and is more mobile than Andrew Walter, but isn't regarded as a smart QB that's normally preferred in the West Coast attack coordinator Greg Knapp brought from Atlanta. Of course, Al Davis calls the shots on offense anyways. If they can swing a deal for McCown, look for the Raiders to take an early second- or third-round QB to develop.

All signs point to CJ at this point IMO,

We seems to be content with O-line besides we have a lot of money tied up into it.

We dont need to draft a RB unless we trade one.

The most glaring need on offense is QB and this is like the 3rd or 4th QB that the raiders showed interest in.

Now the only thing that bothers me is that we would then have tons upon tons of money invested in our WR's. We would basically be paying for THREE #1 WR's and a #2 Reciever oh, and alvis whitted. I wouldnt mind picking up Stanton,Kolb, or Smith in the 2-3 rounds.
