I'm not sold on Rodgers at all. I mean really why would GB trade him if he's their best backup and it's extremely doubtfull that Farve will be on the field for every snap. On the same lines why would GB keep a washed up Farve if they really thought that Ridgers was the man of the future. I think they have seen something they don't like in him and would be a horrible mistake for us to morgage our future on a player who had a shot on another team and failed. If we are going to risk our future on a QB I would rather have us take our chances in the draft.

Thanks for the info!
My thoughts exactly. Your sources have provided us with info, that was ahead of schedule with what happen. So we know you're not just trying to start trouble, just passing on info. Greatly appreciated.

I think moss will be dealt during the draft. Aaron Rodgers isnt so bad. At least he'd be an upgrade at the QB spot for us. I truly believe, right now, that Al Davis is searching every possible way to enable himself to Draft Calvin Johnson. I believe that he is Al's guy. We just need to deal moss, and somehow upgrade the QB stable. The Draft is where I think all of this will go down. Thanx for sharing the rumor.

i get what your saying, but, i kind of think of it as a trade in baseball for a team getting ready for the stretch run. anyteam in baseball will mortgage their future for a veteran player that they think will take them over the top. maybe thats what the packers are thinking?

Aaron Rodgers could ultimately do very well. At the absolute worst, he could come in and push Andrew Walter. Unless both of them are busts, and that I deem to be very unlikely.

I think Kiffin just wants him gone. We are just posturing to get the best deal.

and I don't believe by any stretch of the imagination that aqcuiring Rogers would have any effect on our drafting Russell.

And hey, weren't you the author of the "Don't draft Russell' thread?

Pass on Rogers. If the packers really want Moss, make them give us a draft pick instead. David Carr and Tim Rattay are better than Rogers and can be had right now for nothing on the free agent market.

green bay is in a position where they can't afford to give up any starters especially if they want to make a playoff run we wouldn't trade for Favre and they wouldn't give him up anyway we need a qb and they don't want to pay that much money to a first round pick to sit on the bench so why not trade him to help upgrade their wide receiver corps.

just a thought i've never seen rodgers play but at this point why not give him a shot. Hell they just signed someone that arizona didn't think that much of

Rodgers won't start for us he will just be here to battle with Walter for second string.

If the Packers want to make a playoff run then what better way to do that than to get the baddest WR in the NFL in Randy Moss !! Like I said I still feel moss will not be here and most likely will be traded on Draft Day like Javon Walker was and I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is donl already.

At this point I would take Rodgers for Moss straight up. At least than I would have a ****ing clue about what will happen on draft day.

I tend to agree with you...Moss not being around when there is a new coaching staff and scheme to learn just throws up major red flags...
