Need to take a REAL hard look at his ball handling...

Per pass thrown, he is the WORST of the major QBs coming out of college for interceptions.

Add in the better D's and faster DBs... and I have serious questions.

Very nice read. I have a lot of questions about Russell. His weight and durability at that weight. If he can read NFL defenses. I am also worried about his tenancy to lock in on a WR from the snap. This might work in college the NFL DB will eat his lunch for him.

I'm also not sold on the fact that he has a cannon for an arm. Big deal....Aaron Brooks, KFC, Drew Bledsoe, even Andrew Walter aka Kerry Collins II have great arms. I'm more impressed with the fact that he seems to have great touch and accuracy on his passes. You can teach reading defenses and looking off safeties....

And what does it matter anyways? we picked Martinez's brain a long time ago to find out about Russell, and it seems we're moving on and don't really care anymore. Not to mention Martinez isn't even our QB coach. That's great that he has this MASSIVE hard on for Russell, maybe Tom Martinez can draft Russell and form his own team. Enough is enough.
