Hmmmmm
Q: How much of your desire to come back hinges on what happens with the coaching situation?
A: Well, I am signed for 2009, and I don't want to go anywhere else. I'm sure there are a lot of (personnel and salary restructuring) issues involved. But the good thing about the Raiders is that, as long as I've been here, there's never been a rebuilding phase. They don't talk about a three-or four-year plan ever. They talk about each year winning the world championship. ... They'll make changes, they'll be swift. They'll put people in place to get it done. .................................................. ..................................... Seeing it from Gannons point of view is very enlightening. It sounds like he was not very happy with the system and especially the part about calling the play at the line. Trestman and Callahan basicly made him a sitting duck back there, He ( Gannon) knew this whole thing was not going to work from the begining. Don't be suprised to see Gannon back as the #1 qb next year, if he's got AL's ear, AL may give him another shot.
