Jimmy

I could only hope that Johnson could be persuaded to give up
what he has now in retirement from coaching to go back to the pressure of the NFL sideline.

Maybe his ego is telling him that he can do what Parcells did this year, turn around a storied franchise seemingly headed for disaster. He's still young enough to do the job and has the rings to bring instant credibility to the players and he must feel like he needs to get that last game he coached with the Fish (62-7 playoff loss to Jags) out of the memory bank.

Maybe AD is desperate enough to get this thing back on track that he gives Johnson what he needs to say yes.

By far, this would be the best hire for the Raiders, but so many things would have to happen, it's highly improbable.
