case well made. sark, martz, mcdaniel...we just need a bright offensive mind to take over the ship.

Around week 2, I made a comment on how Al Davis should've hired Mike Martz. I think everyone disagreed with me, placing blame on his ego and his inability to use Marshall Faulk correctly. Funny how a paltry offensive season changes minds.

I rather have Ryan, though.

I'd like to see him here only as an OC tho. I'd like to see us have a D minded HC like when Madden was coach.

I'm warming up to the Martz idea. I don't think we can have him as OC because he's still contracted at Detroit, is that right?

He has said that he will ONLY interview or be interested in HC positions. Thats just the job we should give him.

Martz is over-rated. He took Vermeil's team that was already successful and just kept it rolling. Yes he's better than Callahan but not by much. Look at his offensive output in Detroit, they have a lot of talent on the Offensive side of the ball in Detroit, but still they finish 3-13......Do you really want to just improve by 1 game? Screw Martz.

Dude, surely Martz isn't to blame for the 3-13 record. Detroit ranked 28th in defense. They had Kitna as their QB who finished with over 4200 yards and 20 TDs. We're talking about Kitna here. Roy Williams finished with over 1300 yards and 7 TDs. Can you imagine THAT offense with OUR defense? Wow.
