Inconsistent might better describe Langston Walker.

When he filled in at right tackle for an injured Lincoln Kennedy a few years back, he did a good job leading people to believe he had a bright future ahead.

He put in work at guard and maybe, that is where he is best suited. He certainly flopped at tackle.

Yet, I have to wonder, was it Walker or the fact the coaching staff could not educate and teach any of the offensive linemen?

If I remember correctly, the #2 pick in the draft and expected sure fire blue chip prospect was right there in sacks and penalties, Robert Gallery. Did we mention Jake Grove's performance?

Therefore, I have to wonder.

No matter. Better to cut ties. There is sure to be a fine prospect with our high position in the draft.
