That would work for me big time. He may be a bit on the crazy side, but there is no denying his record in the NFL, and I would think JP would be very happy.

I have always thought that Martz and the Raiders would be a good fit, and he would probably be Al's kind of guy as well. GO GET HIM !

Why would the Mad Scientist come here when Al's is already picking his coaching staff. Martz will not even come within 2000 miles of Oakland. Not sure if there is any established coach that will. He might as well just hire Sark and bring in Trestman cus that is about all we are going to get anyway. Lets just get this in place now so we can bring complete the staff. A HC should be allowed to pick his own staff other wise he is just another puppet. This whole BS is really starting to get to me.

whoa - slow down there. he didn't do so great in Detroit so let's not get our hopes up too high. he would be a DEFINITE upgrade in OC from what we had this last season however!

Totally...heck look at his stats, he even turned around the Lions offense for crying out loud.

I'd welcome Martz no doubt about it. He might be the only saving grace for this organization and Davis. If given more say in the offense that could only mean good things ahead. It'd probably mean us drafting a competent QB.

he didnt do great in detroit?
he turned their passing game into the #7 passing game in the nfl this past year.....

He has said that he will only interview for HC positions, otherwisw he is staying in Detroit. I personally think he is perfect for our HC position.
