Listen, No way a young coach is gonna blow his resume here..if it doesn't work out he has options plenty, back to College as a OC/DC or HC or stay in the NFL and go back to OC or DC, QBC whatever would work for the guy and try agian later. Al is still being named as a talent scout when it comes to coaches...So IMO it's win-win if it works out this guy is set if not go back to basis and try again.

The biggest risk in like is to not that risks...take that to the bank

If a young coach can come to Oakland and establish any kind of winning track record, he's money. Because the rest of the league will be impressed that the guy not only took a bad team and turned it into a winner, but did so while dealing with Al Davis. And even if the coach doesn't win immediately, he'll still get a pass because of the Davis factor.

Put it to you this way:
Bill Callahan was fired after losing in Oakland and landed the head-coaching gig at Nebraska a few weeks later.
Norv Turner was fired after losing in Oakland and landed a coordinator gig in San Francisco a few weeks later.
If these guys were able to get second chances in a matter of weeks, certainly a young guy like Sarkisian, Tedford, etc. would as well.

Frankly, IMO, a young coach like Sarkisian has little to lose - except, perhaps his sanity - by coming to Oakland. If he wins, he's golden. If he loses, most will give him a pass and blame Al Davis.

NICE post bro.

And his wife, Donna, loves the area. When Tedford briefly flirted with the pros after the 2003 season, he interviewed with the Chicago Bears. Donna reportedly cried all night at the thought he might take that job. That killed it, because Tedford loves and respects his wife; he said she personally looks over his contracts.
My God, how would he cope with Moss & Porter then !!!

Wondering when I get to see a Raider win, but at least I've seen the Chargers lose!

Glenn Dickey couldn't find his couch in the living room.

Sigh, someday... someday, somebody will write something that is DIFFERENT, instead of this same ol, same ol.

Time to click on the next link to read more of the same, sad.

By destroying the validity of ideas evolution undercuts even the idea of evolution.
