Gallery slated to start

Raiders LT Robert Gallery is expected to start this weekend.
In possibly Oakland's only sensible plan of the season, the team waited on Gallery to recover from a dislocated elbow instead of placing him on I.R. He can use the experience and the Raiders' decision to draft a QB or a tackle in next year's draft will be easier with more of a look at Gallery. Dec. 18 - Source: San Francisco Chronicle

Too bad they can't use that same 'sensibility' at the quarterback position.

I doubt the raiders will ever draft a tackle in the first round again.

i like slaughter better than gallery! Gallery gets beat over and over again! Gallery is making way too much money and often looks like he is in over his head!

Can't really disagree but at this point you have to start Gallery. Get him more experience and evaluate his ability.
The verdict might already be in but given his draft selection, the Raiders have no choice but to try and get everything possible out of this kid.

I have lost hope for Gallery, but I wouldn't be mad if he proved alot of us wrong.
