Thanks 40. I don't see us taking Quinn. Peterson is the man for us.

"Odds are, Quinn isn't a sure thing to succeed in the pros. Oakland, a team that's made plenty of poor decisions in its recent slide, would be better off selecting a blue-chip, sure-to-be-great NFL player. For the Raiders, that mean Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson. The team has a lot of money invested in ultra-bust LaMont Jordan, but it has to improve at the RB position. There's no way around it.
Peterson's the type of back capable of making a porous offensive line look better than it is, much like Larry Johnson in Kansas City. If any team knows something about a terrible O-line, it's the Raiders."

I have to admit that Jordan has not lived up to the hype and we have nothing resembling a running game. Adrian Peterson thus seems like at least of the meds we need for a full recovery. Not the only one, but definitely one of the Major meds...

Well I think we could draft Peterson..the have a good running game with the mix of Reshard Lee and Justin Fargas...Adrian Peterson will be fine. Maybe we can have Lamont Jordan redo his contract and we could have a heavy dose of Peterson, Jordan, and Fargas. With Lee getting playing time also...

Ultimately, Oakland would be better off with Peterson -- perhaps the next Larry Johnson --

Good read... thanks 40!. He is right on about Quinn and AD looks like a mix of Larry Johnson and Marcus Allen to me. Is the broken collarbone anything to worry about?
