tell ya a secret...ive picked morrison even before this article came out simply because of his tackle totals and the fact i like mlb in my fantasy line ups low on int high on tackle

I always wondered why Morrison didn't get more (or any at all) recognition and consideration for rookie of the year. Marriman had 10 sacks which is incredible, but Morrison had 116 freaking tackles.

Nice posts.
The best is yet to come. I live in San Diego and am a State fan. Having had the pleasure of watching Morrison in college, I knew he was going to be a solid player in the NFL and hoped and prayed the Raiders would pick him up. He had a solid rookie year and I look for big things for this guy. He is one of the players I expect to one day become an all pro. Our linebacking corps could develop into a solid unit. Sam Williams must stay healthy and so far, Thomas Howard has been playing well as a rookie (pre season).

Morrison should definitley be in the running for a Probowl spot this year. He isn't the fastest guy out there, but in a way he's the anti-Raiders draft pick, in that he doesn't possess blazing speed or athleticism, but he relies on instinct and brains. Captain Kirk will the lead the Starship Raider Defense for years to come.

i think its a good move cause i think clark is more suited to play outside and howard is worth watching, 3 lbs that r young & restless.

I'm hoping the media starts paying some attention to him. I hear alot about all those other rookie linebackers but when I bring up Kirk's name none of my friends have a clue about him. Hopefully he will soon get the recognition he deserves. Pro Bowl!
