This is the first preseason game so I'm not going to try and pick the starters yet. I just want to watch some Raider football. I'll start trying to coach around the third game.

I don't know why some of you all don't care about this game. I think it is extremely important to see what our future leaders will do on the field, though I don't necessarily care if we win or lose. I want to see what our depth chart has to offer. Just think about the names involved in the 2nd string:
Michael Huff, Andrew Walter, JOhnnie Morant, R Curry, Stanford Routt, Justin Fargas....

the list goes on. I am eager to see what these guys will do.

If you really want control of the team, get Madden 09 and build the franchise cuz that's as close as you'll get.

Couldn't have said it better. Let's just hope if the new starting QB starts to suck and blow games during the regular season, that they don't stand by him like they did KFC. We need to do anything to win.

Where is Curry anyway? He's not on the depth chart...

I'd rather win every game ugly then lose pretty. (i. e. Dolphins and Jets in the 80's 45-38. Marino through 6 pretty TD's and the team still lost)

Nuff.

As far as preseason, it will be great to see the boys back on the feild, but I'm mostly concerned with beating SD on Sept 11. That game will set the tone for the entire season.
