GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Jared Veldheer, a former Forest Hills Northern High School standout and third-year NFL starting left tackle, made a lasting impression Tuesday night on 16-year-old Evan Akins during the inaugural Respect the Game Youth Football Camp.

The 6-foot-8, 315-pound Veldheer spent time teaching participants the proper blocking techniques and preaching what it takes to be successful at both the collegiate and professional levels.
