Projecting Raiders starters after two OTAs

Under new head coach Dennis Allen, the Raiders have had a voluntary veteran mini-camp, a rookie mini-camp and two weeks of voluntary OTAs (they are off this week but return for a third week of OTAs next week).

So with all of that as a backdrop, why not take a look at what the Raiders' starting lineup might be if the season started today? A few names might jump out at you as being, to quote general manager Reggie McKenzie, "out of whack," but keep in mind this is all based on attendance and players' current health. Yes, it truly is "if the season started today."

So yeah, what better time to take a look into that certain silver and black crystal ball…

I know a lot of people will biatch and moan about this list but keep in mind it's just for fun and - as he clearly points out - is based on attendance and (thankfully minor) injuries/surgeries to date.

Looking down that list though, even with folks like Wiz and Seymour and McClain not included (all three will be there week 1 barring serious injury), I don't find that as scary as I would have expected. Frankly, it's pretty exciting given we have some young guys who will be pushing the folks listed for their positions.

Lots of camp to go through still, but this gets me excited for Raiders football.

remember when the rumor was that Huff was going to switch to cornerback?

I believe it was this moron who started it. Sometime less of this guy is better. Lets not project starters before mini camps and training camps and without many of the starters there.
