This team has very little leadership...there are just no players in key positions to make a difference. Russell is trying, but he is so focused on improving his play it seems, that he is not confident in himself enough...understandable. This defense is going to be the laughing stock of the league. There is no respect there. Even in the red zone the DB's are giving 6 yards of space and then getting beat by the spread offense...where's the physicality? The middle of the field was wide open. These were not fundamentals, it was strategy. The d line play of Tommy Kelly, Trevor Scott, and William Joseph sucked balls from what I saw. They are the main culprits. How is it that this UDFA Bryant can shed blocks, but Tommy Kelly gets put in the dirt? Also, I saw Jon Alston just get thrown to the ground at least three times.

This is going to be a long season and this team is going to suck again.
""My expectations are, I want to be the defensive rookie of the year. That's what I'm going to hold myself to while I'm out there on the field working and remember that while I'm out there working hard."
~ Khalil Mack at training camp.
