It sucks for baseball, not that bad for football. It's actually not that bad at all for football. In terms of boxes and suites and $hit I don't care about because I don't own the team, yeah it does suck.

I agree with this. It's looks horrible when I watch the A's games on TV but it's actually not bad at all for football for a regular fan like me or you...way better than candlestick.
LOL a baseball fan commenting on a football stadium Thi swas funny read. I liked some of the stories that were written. Id like to here some LA Coliseum stories. I have few good ones myself.
This was actually really good, guy keeps it real for the most part. I don't care for the Al Davis bashing. Otherwise the almost redundant point of pot smoking at either game is true. LA was a trip, lots of "SUCK" stories there, but sure is good bein' in Oaktown!

sorry....that place is an absolute sh!t hole!!! They can't get a new stadium soon enough...and that mini-tron? come on now!!
It was a multi use stadium that got remodeled into a baseball full time venue in the 80s and they retrofitted it.
I totally disagree that it's a football stadium. It's a football team playing in a baseball stadium. How can you say it is a football stadium when there's freakin DIRT....LET ME REPEAT DIRT.....at mid field until weak 5?
I'm stunned that you guys are trying to defend it....

The Black Hole is fine for the Raiders. It's not fancy - but why does a football stadium need to be fancy? I wouldn't mind a new stadium at the same location, but I'm good with it just as it is. When the Raiders are a winning team (which hasn't been for a long time), it's one of the premier sporting venues in the U.S. - it's the team and the crowd that makes the venue IMO.

If they installed some turf you'd think they could get rid of the dirt for the Raiders games and re-install it for the A's.
I could care less about baseball, but I'm always checking the standings around the end of the year hoping the A's don't make the playoffs lol.

I don't see the playoffs anywhere in the A's near-term future so i think we're safe there. I actually don't mind the Coliseum for football - it's better than the Stick and Cal Memorial Stadiums which are two of the worst facilities ever! I just don't see a new football only stadium EVER being built for the Raiders in the Bay Area so I'll live with the Coliseum as opposed to having the Raiders relocate somewhere else.

I will say this: I really feel like the organization should care less about who is broadcasting the games and more about the product on the field and putting people in the stands."
“I think that’s the bottom line. I wish, certainly, the Raiders well. But it is frustrating to watch the team right now.”
