Good read! IMO, Russell will continue to be scrutinized until he wins more than a handful of games. Because of his size and build, I think he will always have th appearance of someone who does not work hard at his craft. Let's hope he proves ALL of his critics wrong this season!

I like the reads from Brad. Its a straight up piece without alot of bull**** opinion. I think we have all said lets give JR his chance this season and then we can start judging. I have faith that with a little more help on the O line and some solid running JR will start to perform in the capacity that we all know he is capable of. All he needs is some sticky hands and a few more seconds in the pocket to start making the chains move.
Id like to add as a side note what a bangup job Coach Cable is doing for the team as a whole. I hear more and more good things everyday with the way he is running this team. ALl the players are either in great spirits or they are hyped up to prove themselves to be better players all around. The winds of change are coming. I know you can feel the Autmn wind start to roll through your town.
i agree that things are lookin up ,and also that he will be looked upon critically until he wins on a regular basis .i think if he can improve his footwork and gain some touche on his passes we will be lookin at a monster to be recond with
He is a first overall draft pick. He is a project. He is into his 3rd season now. If he does not show up much better than he has so far it will get worse soon.
let's wait until camp starts.....before we send Russel to the butcher...okay?
