Does not sound like Lofton has made much of an impact on our receivers. Not looking good.

Our Backup Receiver

Maybe Lofton Should Go Out There And Make Some Catches . At This Point It Wouldnt Be That Bad Of An Idea. Our 3rd String Guys Look Better Than Our 1st String Guys. I Wish Kiff Would Wake Up On This And Make Watkins A Starter, And Make Javon Walker Work For His Money. Im Sure That There Is Something In His Contract That The Raiders Can Get Out Of It And Get Their Money Back. Lack Of Performance, Unhealthy, How About Psychological Problems That Are Hampering His Ability To Perform. Get Rid Of Javon Before The Season Starts Man, Im Telling You It Is Going To Be A Waste Of Money And Time On The Field For Someone Who Want That Position.

Good point bringing up Lofton. Honestly San Diegos WR core was its weakest link by far also. Now us. Hmmm... . I mean we do not know what goes on behind the scenes but I do not hear anything being pushed from him like I do from Cable and Rathman.

I'm with you 100%. I just wish Al would of taken Javon up on that retirement deal, and given us our money back so we could invest in someone that wants to produce. I don't blame Lofton, there's just no talent. I'd like to see Kiffin start Watkins and Schillens against the Cardinals, and base some decisions there. I think Russell would be lighting up the passing circuit if he had receivers that could get decent separation. So far, that's just Miller time.

Javon was the best receiver available at the time. I don't blame Al for picking him up, but the ammount he was paid. I never thought walker would live up to that ammount from the start. not his fault either, because he is not a TO or Moss and never was. but the whole retirement deal... now im thinking if we took the money back who would we have signed? The only legitimate playmaking receiver left out there is Chris Henry, and that is even more of a gamble than Walker was.
And Watkins and Carter have never proven anything in the NFL... I've heard Carter has always been a camp stud. but calling them to start over a 55 million man is just silly
