There is always work to do. SB contenders like Indy and New England are always looking at ways to get better. We won, which is great, but it was the forty-whiners, and we still looked shaky in a lot of ways.

What pleased me most was that we didn't commit too many stupid penalties and did many "little things right," including not giving up any turnovers other than the ones on downs.

The stupid penalties we gave were the block in the back on Higgins 37 yard punt return, and two penalties by Mario. Kiffin was quick to point out Mario when interviewed after the game on KSFO, so if Mario keeps playing like this, don't expect him to have a job with the Raiders when the cuts are made.

Kiffin has stressed ball security and no penalties this off-season. So far we are off to a great start. We didn't play great, but we did a lot of little things right, which should hold us into good account by the time we under the MNF football lights at the HOT.
