Good read.

I have to disagree with this part though.

Thanks for the history lesson 40. Great read! Almost brought tears to my eyes. I knew most but not all of what was said. But as a Raider fan of 40 years I know his best days are far behind him and feel we will not rise again until he understands that and acts accordingly.

A full disclosure biography of Al Davis could be one of the best sellers of all time. Love him or hate him, this guy has been involved with some of the most controversial sports decisions of all time. What other team has moved and moved back? What other coaches have become owners? Who has manipulated the press, players. league, and fans as much as Al Davis?

Now Al currently, may or may not be off his rocker...but his whole body of work will be seen as one of the best sports stories of all time.

Great article!
