A knee injury, possibly related to the one Shields suffered in college last year, was keeping him out earlier. The fourth-rounder has apparently fallen behind seventh-round pick Chaz Schilens. We expect little in the way of production from Shields this season.

I really hope he is able to play but i have to admit im sorta pulling for Schilens i like his atitude and potential
