RB in the draft as are QB are never a for sure thing. I think that DMAC is in the right offense that will showcase his talents. I hold out positive thoughts for Jamarcus and Darren. Go Raiders.

He raises some valid points though.....as irritating as it might be for us to read.....but that type of speculation and wonderment comes from every position.
Later.

Talk about smearing the facts to back an argument!!
Ronnie Brown- has played on horrible teams, but prior to his injury last year was running as well as anyone in the league.
Benson- drafted as a known head case who has since busted. Am I the only one who saw Ricky Williams written all over this guy?
Cadillac- offensive roy who has since been bit by the injury bug. A tremendous talent with some bad luck, it happens.
JJ Arrington- the league is full of second round picks of all positions who have experienced as much, or as little success as him. Big deal.
Frank Gore- first round talent who had a series of knee injuries at the U. That lead to his fall in the draft to the fifth round, and he's since exploded onto the scene.
I haven't had as much confidence in a Raider first rounder since Woodson.

Quote:
It's a good time to recap the 2005 draft, then. Three running backs went in the first five picks.
No. 2, Ronnie Brown, played seven games in 2007, his third consecutive injury-plagued season.
No. 4, Benson, has a career high of 674 yards.
No. 5, Cadillac Williams, blew out his knee and will be lucky to play in 2008.
The fourth running back taken, Cal's J.J. Arrington in the second round, is a mediocre third-down back. And the fifth one taken was Frank Gore, at the top of the third round. Bust of the draft, some called him then.

Ouch - 2005 was a bad year for backs. 2008 will be a different story however.

Barring injuries, I think McFadden will be something special in this league.
