Jamarcus should have real easy time with this. With Zach Miiller, Drew Carter, Javon Walker, Justin Fargas, Darren McFadden, and Micheal Bush. i wouldnt be surprised if it was even higher than 65%

Considering only 7 QB's -- Brady, Pennington, Brees, Favre, Shaub, Peyton, and Big Ben -- had a 65% and over completion percentage last year, that's a tough number to get when you're pretty much a rookie on a young offense with Kwame covering your back and Carter/Curry running good routes with bad hands. I'm ok with Zach and the RB's/FB's, but still not sold on our WR's or (entire) OL.

We'll definately see how the play-calling pans out.

Ahhhhhhhhhh April, the month that gets the Raider Nation talking about our "Next Big Thing" in the Draft:

JaMarcus Russell - All Talent, No Work Ethic
Darren McFadden - McFumblaya!
Darrius Heyward-Bey - No Talent, All Work Ethic

I'll be watching closely on days 2 and 3 of the draft. But I cannot bear to watch day 1...

Good post, and I'd almost agree.

If our WR's are healthy (R.Curry) and in shape (J.Walker) than I think Russell has a good shot. I intially didnt want K.Robinson. Personally, I think the guy has always been an underachiver. The one thing though is if Oakland signs the guy to a fair/cheap deal, we cant possibly underestimate his value to this team as insurance. Both against the rookies being flops, and against health and in shape issues.

I think Oakland should sign both Odell Thurman & Koren Robinson. I'll be excited to have Thurman, and breathe a sigh of relief when Robinson signs.
Should Russell have a WR Corp to throw to, I think he'll be primed to do some good things.
