Shoulda, coulda woulda. Pretty lame piece if you ask me, I agree with maybe 3 items. I totally disagree with what he said about us (of course), but not even being a homer, most of the deals are set up in such a way that if these players play well, they get paid if not they won't hurt that much. Also, I have posted it a hundred times so I won't go find the stats again, but trust me, none of the following have been more productive than Kelly over the last 4 years: Rogers, Jenkins, Williams. So just because he is a no name doesn't mean it was that bad. Yes, his deal is bigger than his resume deserves, but at least he is home grown talent and didn't cost a draft pick to acquire.
Whatever, the 10 worst moves of this off season won't be known until December anyway.

thanks 40.We needed to keep Kelly but we did way overpay for a guy coming off a serious injury.Walker is a risk but the pool was thin and paying a lot is the only way he comes to Oakland. If he is healthy its not a bad deal,we had to take the chance.I agree with most of his list. The Cowboys are crazy to count on Thomas to be healthy and Fassano was a good backup

I can't imagine how you could say a team coming off 2 and 4 win seasons is trying to hard to win. Ridiculous. We'll see how they work out, but I don't blame Al for trying.

Uhh, all the guys we spent money on are prety young. This guys acting like we spent money on some guys only with a few yeras left.
Russell NEEDED WALKER, bad!! If we left him with no go to guy in his first season as a starter it would be one of the dumbest things we could do...
As for hall, ****, who doesnt want a probowl CB for a 2nd round pick. Especially when teams beat us solely by throwing the ball to Washingtons side.
Gibril is young, and tackles. What did the raiders lack last year? tackling. We signed a safety who has more tackles in the psat five years than ANY SAFETY in the league.
Kelly, well, we'll see. But screw this guy, he dont know sh*t.

The writer made it seem like the only reason we released Rhodes was because of money problems? Errrrrrrrr, wrong!!! How about he was released because a.)his restructsured contract said we would release him asap when/if we drafted DMac, and b.)a crowded rb stable where he would have sat and put his talents to waste, taken up roster space, and cost over 1+ mill....... His argument is dumb. And our team has been crap since Kelly has been on it. I bet if we were atleast a respectable team Kelly would be known around more in the leauge. His #'s are as productive as other "big time" dt's that got traded this off-season. Unfortunately Kelly is just known as some guy on a Raiders defenseive line that is the worst in the leauge. If people around Kelly performed better it would make Kelly even more of a force imo. As for Javon.... what other option that was better than him did we have?

You beat me to it.... when I read "It's already been reported that the draft-weekend trade of cornerback Fabian Washington triggered a cap hit that forced the release of running back Dominic Rhodes"...... I just said "Doesn't this expert even read the fuggin news?"

Again we will not know whether these moves were good or bad until after this year.
