I think this kid will be just fine, especially being away from all of the bad influences in his hometown. I think being drafted by the Raiders and taking him far away from the trouble was the best thing that could have happened to him.

Good read.
My concerns are: 1. Brothers and the life could follow him. 2. Even though he might get out and away, family is still family, I can see one of the brother bringing the trouble to him. Like the bar fights, he didn't start it, but felt compelled to join in when he brothers did. 3. He is a cash cow for the family now. Will they try to use him.

That's kind of scary...
Oakland is definately a tempting place. Plenty of bars, women, drugs, and gang banging to go around. Hopefully McFadden can keep himself goal oriented even if/when his brothers aren't. It'd be great if Morrison or somebody can take it upon themselves to kind of guide him...
