Whatever.

Raider fans know that Davis wants an OC for a head coach.

That's why Kiffen was to be calling the plays. Davis makes the personel decisions.

I don't know, a player that was forced to sit out despite being perfectly healthy might have a small "axe to grind" as the writer puts it.

No news here. But thanks for the link 40.

blah blah blah.

Does anybody notice how many writers are making all sorts of excuses in their articles these days? Why? Could it be they know their journalistic integrity and accumen are rightfully being called into question? Pitiful response dude.

BTW Kiffin sounded nothing like a guy who was forced to take McFadden. None of the other coaches sounded less than 100% enthusiastic. So where's the beef?

Thanks 40!! Got my daily rant out of the way now. Time for a beer and a horse race.

That might sound like something coming from a player bitter for having essentially sat out a year and wanting to take a few parting shots on his way out the door. The thing is, Rhodes was not bitter.
These writers all say the same thing when it involves a player talking bad about their experiences with the Raiders, after being cut. They said it with Porter and are now saying this with Fabian. they all say," I know this sounds like this guy is just hatin', but believe me, he's not." get outta here!

Like I said before. If it wasn't about the money, we should promote Ryan to coach and let Knapp call the plays. bring in Vikings OL coach Dunbar and make him our DC. That way Ryan can still run the defense while Dunbar closes up on the run. Very Simple. Vikings were #1 in stopping the run last year...

The way i see this,

Al is responible for live, Kiffin is resposible for coaching...It's not like Lane pays the players..Al does..the one who pays..calls the plays so to speak. I any organisation it's that way. Still i think Al handed over the day-to day things to Kiffin, but ultimatly when it coms to spending the big bucs..it's Al..now whats wrong with that?

On our new QB with his WR's...

everybody must understand al davis, i look often the dvd about the raiders history and davis is very clear, he is the owner , he is the general director and at a certain point the head coach, he wants a team who play vertical offense with fast player who make big plays , he like a defense 4-3 with the rush from the DE , he never like to blizt.

for him the Hc is in fact an offensive coordinator , so he is the hc and has 2 assistant , the hc who is in fact an offenvise mind to call the play and a defensive coordinator to call the defense play. for hin the hc is just a play caller and a motivator.
