This is the one guy I felt we needed to find a way to keep, IMO he was our best D player. Ok Al waiting on you to Sign his replacement. Make it a good one.

Angry

Losing Eric Barton REALLY hurt. He was our best defensive player. I think either Ian Gold (Denver Mules) or Rocky Calmus (Oklahoma) would be suitable replacements.

he only had one really good season out of 5.....he was decent but not as great as we think. remember the monday night game against denver......the donks ran play action and counters all night and he could never stay in his ****ing lane and that wasn't the only game......dude needs to concentrate, and be disciplined......but again, he's not horrible, but he can be replaced......

Is Calmus a FA? He'd do well in Silver n Black

Barton was horrid last year. Those Jake Plummer bootlegs and waggles were a nightmare. Didn't he break a long run on us?
Good luck Eric, unless you play us.
Two years ago he was super- he played ProBowl level. So many injuries on D, and O that was three and out a good part of the year, nobody found their groove last year.
Maybe a change of pace resurrects his carrer. Or Al sent him over there to cash the brady bounty for us twice a year.

'Play to Win' Eric, it is your last chance bro...
