I wouldn't go to this game if the ticket, ride, food and beer were free. I want to see it but I want to see Pats/Colts too. Probably going to a sports bar.

I have a hunch that the Raiders will play well against the Texans and it will be a really enjoyable game, while the Colts-Pats game will be a damp squib - hyped-up games rarely live up to their potential.

I'll be listening to the Raiders through internet radio while watching the Pat-Colts on the TV.

I heard that due to contractual agreements only Houston will get the Raider Texans game.

Due to the intense interest in this matchup of undefeated teams and the two top quarterbacks in the NFL today, KTVN Channel 2 has decided to air the Patriots versus the Colts matchup rather than the Houston at Oakland game.

Oakland fans can expect the Raiders to return to KTVN's football coverage later in the season.

Based on the past four seasons, if the Raiders should lose to Houston, this station will probably only show Raider games if there aren't any better matchups in the same time slot.

Last year was the first time I had noticed the local Fox station finally going the same route in handling 9er games.

ka what? Rarely live up to the hype? WHAT? Are you kidding? Did you watch the AFC championship game last year? Or these two teams games over the last three years? Not to mention neither have lost a game and are so much better then anyone else. It will be better then the superbowl.

Its worse being in NC and wanting to watch a game. Only option is a cable sports package which is $$$

Having said that, I think blackouts are BS. Thought that growing up in Long Beach as well

(Off topic but....)I'll take this op to credit one of the all time great play by play men in all of sports. Growing up and listening to raider games on the radio was almost as good as watching on tv.
BILL KING. If you had a smidgen of imagination he was a novelist of sports. God I loved that guy. Chick Hern was pretty good also with the lakers.

Not a dodger or laker fan, but growing up listening to Chick Hearn and vin scully make you appreciate a good announcer. I didnt find people I like until moving to Chicago and listening to South side baseball games
