It is etched in stone. By kiffen.
kiffen said NO player will lose his starting job from injury. jordan is proof of that. When mcdrown is healthy enough to start he will. That is a fact. I don't think kiffen makes that **** up as he goes along.
It is my opinion, what ever culpepper does this year, he will be playing elsewhere next.

You have it backwards. Kiffin was asked in this week's press conference if he perscribed to the "you don't lose your job to injury" rule, and he said no. He went on to say, "why would I make a statement like that as a HC? All I'm concerned with is putting the best guys on the field that give us the best chance to win".

Btw, It's Kiffin, not Kiffen.

The only thing "etched in stone" by Kiffin is that he will put the QB who gives his team the best chance to win on the field.

Where in the hell are you getting your info??? Here's some real info from real quotes from Kiffin....
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl.../SPAKSU69D.DTL

Quote:
Quarterback Josh McCown feels his best since breaking a big toe four weeks ago, and plans to practice Wednesday.

Kiffin doesn't know who will start Sunday's game, and said he has no policy about players keeping or losing their job after injury.
http://www.mercurynews.com/raidershe...nclick_check=1
Quote:
Opening-game quarterback Josh McCown said he doesn't buy into the line of thinking that a player who sustains an injury is entitled to his job upon returning to health.

Good thing, as it turns out, because neither does Raiders Coach Lane Kiffin.

"The bottom line is, you put the best players in who can help you win at that time," Kiffin said. "So on that given Sunday, who do we feel can help us win, and that's who we'll play."
http://www.sacbee.com/raiders/story/448455.html
Quote:
Kiffin doesn't believe an injured starter is guaranteed his job when healthy. McCown worked out Monday morning to test his foot, but Kiffin wants to see how he looks in practice.
Soooo, what were you saying about something being etched in stone???

OK flatulance er, wind. I'll connect the dots for you. Refer to a jordan comment made on here that was a direct quote of kiffen saying to jordan that he was the man. If he felt he could play,he was the man.
JORDAN WAS AND IS BUSTED. HE IN NO WAY SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN FOR 95% OF THE OFFENSE. THIS DIRECTLY CONTRADICTS HIS PRESS MEETING QUOTE. JUST LIKE HE LEFT MCDROWN IN WHILE HE WAS HURT. IT TOOK HIM TO GET KNOCKED OUT OF THE GAME TO MAKE THE CHANGE.
HE IS GOING TO SAY WHAT HE NEEDS TO SAY IN FRONT OF A MIC.
YOU JUST NEED TO HAVE A CLUE AND READ DEEPER THEN THE PROPAGANDA. kiffEn

Awe, did I strike a nerve? I'm sorry, I didn't realize you would get so flustered simply because you were taken to school. See I bring direct quotes from real sources to back my position, you bring nothing more than poor grammer written in caps. That may win you an argument or two where you're from, but you only get laughed at when you bring those sorry ass arguments here. Nevertheless, wipe those tears, because based on the complete lack of substance and credibility your posts have, it isn't the first time you've been worked and I guarantee it won't be the last. I've seen dozens of mental midgets such as yourself come and go, but at least most of them knew how to spell the HC's name.

Did I say that? Show me where I said that. Nope, I never said that. You're the only moron who makes sh*t up and then says it's etched in stone. You're nothing but a Saturday afternoon chuckle to me. Thanks for the laughs!

I guess you missed the memo: Daunte was AFC Offensive player of the week after the Fishbreaths game. That's a bit more than "nothing".

And he played a pretty good game last week too. Yes, he lost his poise for that one-play and ended the game prematurely. He's not going to get benched for that one bad decision, when he's shown improvement week by week, and developed a chemistry with the team.

2-plays, 2-lazer shots, 80-yards and TD is also, more than "nothing".

Meanwhile, it appears the thesis of the piece is that Daunte beat out McCown for the start this week. And here in the Ghettos, that means he "earn" it.

Otherwise, there's no way I would bank on McCown starting next week unless Kiffin feels he gives us the best chance to win - that's what he's been saying all along.
