One bad week for Mike, he needs to step his game up or he won't be here long.

Yeah I did that too, lol. The minute he tried to run with two & three defenders swarming on him, I was yelling "just get down"

A bit confusing, since it's my perception that the only reason Mike Williams is still on the team to begin with is Lane Kiffin.

Especially with Daunte, Travis Taylor and him seemed to have been on the same page. I didn't understand that cut.

Meanwhile, Mike Williams is who we got, and we need him to emerge big time. Right now, only Curry and Madsen have stepped up and played at an NFL level in terms of receiving IMHO.

Give the kid a break, he's TD drop... wasn't even a catch, he got leveled the moment he had his hands on it. The other drop catch.. okay.. how many times have we seen Porter drop a catch? At least Williams gets the ball thrown his way, and at least Williams makes an effort to go up and catch the ball, instead of Porter, who refused to challange Dre Bly on the interception, knowing full well its underthrown.

I wonder what Kiffin has to say about that??

Well, I'm still hoping BMW turns it around before it's too late.

Kiffin's play calling has proven that "he knows how to use Big Mike".

Now Mike has to prove that Martz just didn't give him the opportunity he needed.

Either way, I'm happy to know that Kiffin's not above replacing him if it continues.

You and me both! I found it to be very disturbing that in a critical situation like that how Mike as a professional and fighting for a last chance did not have the smarts to just go down with the ball secured! I have been rooting for him (being a huge USC fan) to get his crap together but after what I saw on Sunday he would have been a huge part of a potential loss! That pass he had in the End Zone should have been tucked immediately for 6 but he held it out!

Whatever, that ball he had for a TD should have been put away before he got hit and dont tell me he did not have time, it was a nice hit but he still had the ball out for what reason I dont know other than "hotdoggin"! He is not in a position to do that yet!

Come on. It would have been an AMAZING catch if he had held onto that ball. I watched it over and over and there is no way he could have put that ball away before he got leveled. Yes, it's possible he could have held on, but it really would have been an amazing feat. Now the other drop - that's unforgiveable. And the fumble.

At least he's getting open, though. Porter can only get open a few times on a stutter and deep patern and nobody else other than Curry can seem to get open at all.

When the Walter situation irons out, we may see Taylor back in Oakland....you never know.

Williams is only 22 or 23. Hopefully, Kiffin can straighten him out. If he continues to drop balls, Kiffin will have no choice but give the boot!
