Where I agree it is a head scratcher why we are staying with McCown when he is hurt and Daunte is ready to go, you can just throw that race BS right out the door. That has not and will not ever play in this orginization. To bring it up at all in my mind is a head scratcher and leads you to wonder the mind set of the author. There are a number of reasons the Coach is playing McCown instead of DC, but race is not one of them...

I can only guess, but if I had too, this is what my guess would be.

Kiffin traded, what, a 4th round pick for Josh, and williams to Detroit. It Looked good, if those guys play. But both those players haven't look that good. Al was trying to get DC last year, so it is safe to assume that was his pick. I believe Al is trying to stay out of Kiffin's business on the field, however I give it one more poor performance by Josh, and Al will force kiffin's hand to put Josh on the bench. I have no doubt DC will play this year, when, I have no idea. But let's hope it's soon. I'm pretty good at reading into people by looking at them. Josh is looking like plain vanilla, while DC is your Chocolate, carmel swirl, with all the goodies. He's in the dipped waffle cone, and ready to go.

I'm not a big fan of vanilla.

I don't think any fan or press member or critic has the right to call for anyone to start over someone else. We are not the coach, we don't see what they do in practice every day, we don't hear the conversations they have between team and coach, we don't feel what they feel about the players.

Let the coach make the decision, and quit crying about who "should" be starting.
