And I will say, some of what the idiot said was quite lucid. |

I received a warning after posting my first post upon joining here. Are you to tell me your little feelings are that fragile that I've offended, wondering why nobody responded to a post? It would seem there are sensitive whiner fans or what not running the show here? That is pretty damn pathetic. I only wish the Tooz or alzado, maybe howie or Ted Hendricks could read some of these tear jerker all is well stuff. Would you warn them? I think a tall cold glass of reality is in order.

The Raiders will soon have 2 black QBs on the roster (once Russell has to be moved onto it).
No note about that though! We don't see black and white, we just see Silver and Black. |

After the previous bomb to Porter had gone astray, to throw the same play was dumb, dumb, dumb. Supposedly, Jano was kicking FGs from 60 yards in pre-game. Look at how the 52 yard effort hit the top of the upright. Why did we not just run the ball, get inside the halfway line, stop the clock with a couple of seconds remaining and try the damn long shot. Throwing the damn bomb was paramount to punting the ball. Dumb, dumb, dumb. |

Guys, it is easy from the fans point of view to have an opinion on things. However, we are not at practice during the week. We ar not in the meeting rooms each week , so we do not know what is being taken into consideration as to who plays and who does not. OK McCown had thee interceptions this last week. I did not see the first one to Bailey, but the second one was on a deflected pass and the thrid was on a long throw that Porter could have and should have broken up. The two in the Detroit game where on a timing route read by the defender and another defrected pass. It is not like McCown threw the ball right at the prople. Also, many of the lack of yards last week against Denver I attribute to receivers nto getting open which is a result of two things, poor game planning or lacak of talent at WR. Denver DB's where lining up ten yards off the ball, where was the WR screen, where was the motion patterns, quick slants etc. I say it was game planning. Give McCown credit though. He is leading the team, the team is not giving up on him and he is not making the bone head plays. Also, Culpepper could still be hurt and not mobile enough to play.

Just 3 weeks ago all of us were excited and confident in our boys. The season is young and it is far from over. Yes, we are scratching our heads on why CPep is not playing but as "mediocre" as Josh has looked he is not to blame for being 0-2, they were team losses.
Lets get back to seeing the hour glass as half full not empty. Our "O" line is played so much better than last year, Lamont is running like he knows how, Rhodes comes back in 2 weeks, JR is finally in uniform, our defense will only play better hopefully starting today and our passing game will get better too. KC is the worst team in our division not us which we have not been able to say for a few years now, Denver is very much beatable as we know now and San Dogg does not look very good. I would like to think we should still be very optimistic about our future! Stay together Raider Fans! |
