We act like this guy hasnt made pro bowls and been an elite qb in the league. He knows how to take snaps. its just a fact that they are rotating qbs, centers, etc and they havent gotten a lot of snaps. That is why after this week, a starter needs to be named at both positions so they can work together a couple weeks before the season starts.

Very true. Here's hoping C-Pep and Newberry get the starting nod from Kiffin.

I see Coach Lane starting Culpepper in the Rams game and then making his decision. Barring any big issues in this next game, you have to feel like Culpepper will likely get the nod...

I want to see how culpepper does with the starters against the rams.Get the timing with the center down and we might have a starter locked up by monday.I heard lamont jordan say the starters will play the most this week to gain chemistry so I hope we get a good long look at what Daunte can do.

Until dante has one ring let alone two let's not even walk down that Plunk comparison. Taking the snap has nothing to do with not starting or reps with the center. It has to do with his head being where it needs to be. Focus/concentration. To win big games you have to lead at all times with both. As was already indicated, turnovers lose games.

I have this gut feeling that C. Pep is gonna be the next comeback QB for the raiders.
