How in the world can you say Schwiegerts missed INT was a down side. The guy tried to be Super man and jump completely horizontal just to have a chance at it. 9 out of 10 times thats an incomplete pass no matter what DB gets his hands on it. Stu had a good night overall. Making that pick just would have made it outstanding. Would have had to be an amazing play to catch that ball.

milehighraider in response to questions.

Mose--put early pressure on Matt L earlyand played well, did get out of position on outside runs a couple times

Jay Richardson--Also put pressure and had 1 sack had a good game.

Higgins --dropped a rocket from Dante on rollout to his right with Higgins faking a go route and coming back to the ball and was wide open. He did us his body to sheild the ball from the defender on the bomb and went up to go get. Also had a good return to put the offense close to midfield

Mario-- did a good job of blitz pu and did allow a sack while in the game.

Frampton- did not play and if he did I did not notice him.
Bowie - was out because of injury.
Shotwell- I believe he was #41 and he did not have a good game and seem lost in coverage and miss a couple of tackles in open field.
O'neil- blocked well but did drop two passes from Dante, the passes were threwn to hard.
Miller- Blocked very well - and had one tough catch.

Overall - was very impressed with Miller, Mario, Moses and Richardson. Higgins and O'neil looked the part but dropped passes were a negative.

LOL, Do you know that old saying, If you can touch it, you can catch it? Well, it wasn't like that ball even went off his finger tips, it hit him in the hands. He has to start catching those.

As good as Hiram Eugene looked on the interception that looked as if it was being thrown to him, he looked just as bad and maybe worse on that long TD pass.

He wasnt the man in coverage but he did have a chance to make the takle and did a very poor job.

I have to agree with Madbomber. Had Stu come up with that it would have been a great int.

It wasnt like it was thrown right at him and hit him in the hands and he just flat out dropped it.

He was completly laid out diving and also had to try to keep it in his hands while hitting the ground. Not nearly as easy as you seem to make it out to be. no fault to him for not being able to make that one.

Do you know the old saying "if he can catch that, he should be playing WR not DB?"

People like Whitted and Grove did not help their situation with the team.
