Raiders | Team split on who to take in NFL Draft?

Phil Barber, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports there is speculation the Oakland Raiders are torn on who to select with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. The scouting department reportedly likes Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson, head coach Lane Kiffin and offensive coordinator Greg Knapp like Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn and team owner Al Davis wants Louisiana State QB JaMarcus Russell.

why didnt they put the part in there about how no one told him this and its not anywhere near a fact, by the writers own admission. It amazing to watch the spin machine work sometimes.

we will see if Al davis relinquishes full control and gives kiffin the latitude he deserves....if we get JR....hell no al davis STILL calls the shots.....if we get Quinn....kiff is moving on up.....if we get johnson al davis has fallen over his walker
