I hope this is not true, drafting anyone but JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn, preferrably Russell, would be a huge mistake. Culpepper is done, he will never regain the form he had with the Vikings.

i agree taking culpepper would be a similar leap of faith as signing A. Brooks last year, culpepper has had a much better career than brooks but look at the facts. culpepper stilll hasn';t rehabed from a major injury to his knee, part of his upside was that he used to be mobile but now has likely lost that and the chances of him returning to minesotta form is pretty scarse. As soon as moss left him #'s took a hugh dip. i would'nt mind signing him for depth to battle w/ walter. and maybe using CJ as trade bait but thats a pretty bold move-who knows if we can draft CJ and get acceptable trade value for him?

I saw this on Mike & Mike this morning......Clayton did say that KC wants a 2nd and a 6th round pick for Green (from Oakland). Green wants to go to Miami, if they successfully land him, then Culpepper will be cut, but if Oakland CAN NOT get a look at Culpepper (and his knee) before the draft, then they'll pick Russell. Culpepper is in the fourth month of a six month rehabilitation process.
Later.

I don't give a dam about Culpepper I it's either Quinn or CJ if you want to win.

Placing my thumbs together and point my index fingers at a 45 degree angle I present you with my best "Whatever". This is not happening. Culpepper will not be a Raider and thank god for that. Our staff is to smart. A shame the ESPN analysts don't share that same fate...
