The Raiders don’t know what to do with receiver Randy Moss, whose salary this season is slightly more than $9 million. New coach Lane Kiffin says that both Moss and Jerry Porter, who spent most of last season in Art Shell’s doghouse, will be in his starting lineup. Porter, who is in the last year of his contract, needs the Raiders while Moss has different ideas. The feeling is he wants the opportunity to play for a playoff team and not be a part of Oakland’s rebuilding.

What is unknown is what does Al Davis want for Moss? Would he settle for a third or fourth-round draft choice? If he would, the New England Patriots might be interested in Moss. The Pats need a veteran receiver and Belichick knows he can handle Moss. There’s been a lot of talk about the Packers for Moss, but it doesn’t look like a move that Green Bay GM Ted Thompson would be interested in making, no matter how much Brett Favre asks.

I'd get rid of Lamont before Fargas. Lamont can't stay healthy and Fargus ran hard all year long. Our line could'nt do a damn thing for him. But he did run hard. Lamont is over paid for not finishing out 05' nor 06'.

Kiffin did not work "anything" out with Moss. He did not have to! There was NO problem to begin with.

If you separate the officiall report and news from the RUMORS there is no problem between Moss and Kiffin!

Moss's lawyer went out and issued a statement that there was no problems, altercation, or bad words exchanged between Moss and Kiffin.
It was just a Rumor! The lawyer said that Moss and Kiffin were excited about where the team was going.
Than Kiffin comes out saying that he talked to Moss and has Porter and Moss on the same page ready for next season.

I am just bewildered to how blatenly some of us choose to dissregard the Truth!

I already new this. we should trade moss for a second and 4th rounder. use the second for darrel jackson and the 4th on a RB.
