Best times
Many reported times are unreliable due to differences in timing methods if not intentional falsifications. The fastest time officially recorded by the NFL was 4.29 seconds by Deion Sanders in 1989 [1], although the NFL did not begin electronic timing until 1990. In the electronic timing era, the fastest recorded time at the NFL Combine was 4.25 seconds by cornerback Fabian Washington in 2005. [2] Most other times close to 4.0 are untrustworthy due to the use of hand timing, but it is often claimed that players including Sanders (4.17)[3], Ted Ginn Jr. (4.06)[4], Ryan Dotson (4.24) DeAngelo Hall (4.15)[5][6], Michael Vick (4.25)[7], Bo Jackson (4.14)[8], Don Beebe (4.21)[1], Michael Bennett (4.13)[9], Randy Moss (4.25)[10], Darrell Green (4.15[11], 4.2[12]), Laveranues Coles (4.2)[13], and Alexander Wright (4.09)[14] have approached that mark. |

Peterson's upright style of running has to be a concern, especially with Oakland's suspect offensive line. Granted, our line may be better than people think due to the "ancient" techniques that Shell and Slater taught our guys!!! So who knows what to think at this point???

I don't think there was ever too much doubt about Peterson being a top 5 pick ultimately.

Exactly and Peterson may be a better back than Lynch but if we could get Lynch in the second or trade up into the first to get Lynch his salry would be a better fit than getting AP for his top 5 pick salary he isn't that much better than Lynch

A. Peterson or C Johnson (depending if #18 does get traded). That shoud be our pick......

I disagree especially on Calvin Johnson he's a freak athlete and probably the best Wide out prospect in a while but look at the Cardinals they have prolly the last great wide out prospect in Larry Fitzgerald their still not winning I just want someone to help turn this Franchise in a new direction and imo i think that person is Brady Quinn

I have to disagree. Peterson is pretty much Larry Johnson with elite speed. As a pure runner he may be better than LT. Lynch I think compares well to Joseph Addai only a tad slower. Not that being Addai is bad but I don't think he's a franchise build your team around him back.
