SO what if...MOSS has a pro bowl year
well i have been noticing alot of hatred towards randy moss on this board latley...and i got to thinking....what if we kept him, alot of ppl would be pissed and angry and bashing this move....but what if he stays and has a pro bowl year ...would many of u turn into bandwagon fans and love him again, we all kno what he is capable of and we saw glimpses of that under turner, alot of u say he quit on the team, but i saw alot of quit from many of our offensive players, he was just dumb enough to speak his mind...I will get bashed for this, but im willing to give him one more chance under a coach that seems to kno his offense, and that will not let alvis whitted start opposite of moss...just my opinion

I could care less what he does. If he is a Raider and have a pro bowl year and catch the winning TD in the SB? then we are all happy! BUT that will NEVER change the fact that he turned into an idiot! That will not change his color. He showed me his character and that is all I need to know!

Like they said if you give a fool lots of money, he just become a fool with lots of money! In this case you give an idiot a SB ring, he just becomes an idiot with a ring.

Thats all there is to it, nothing else!

I agree with you. We all know this guy is one of the best wr's in the game. He atleast needs to stay here under Kiffin. His first year he was injured but still put up 1000 yards. Under Shell did anyone do good? I think Kiffin could ignite Moss and use him to the best of his abilities.

like Ive been posting on several threads, I dont think Al trades him....at least not this year. If he dont like what he sees from Moss this year, then he goes.
Like you said, he was the only loudmouth to speak up.....everybody knows the whole offense didnt like the scheme, but do you tell the boss his way of doing business sucks??!! probably not if you value your paycheck......well, Randy did and he just gonna have to live with the consequences.....plus I'm leaning toward drafting "Big J", and Russel to Moss sounds good to me!!!

I don't know. Woodson just had a pro bowl year and I don't feel any differently.

he was on his way down as a Vike,and he quit on that team too.so much talent wasted.the only way he sees another pro bowl is if he buys a ticket IMO

i don't think most Raiders fans have nearly as much problems with him openly dissing Shell, Walsh et al. it was his half ass effort - not running routes, alligator arms, not blocking, dropping ball etc. that really pisses people off. much more likely than moss staying and becoming a pro bowler is him staying and becoming a porter / marcus allen riding the bench all year.

exactly bro,too big a gamble IMO.and if things dont start out good he is a major headache on a rebuilding team with a young coach.sounds like a recipe for disaster

This and that year he was injured, that year he wasn't used right and was sad, even though he dropped how many balls that hit him in both hands. Enough of the crap. Either you are a player and make it happen or your an excuse of why you can't do what you used to do.

How long does a players reputation from 3 or 4 years ago carry before some reason that he is an overrated has been that has become unmotivated, injury prone and is a shell of what he used to be. All for the low low price of only 1/12th of a teams cap allotment for the season.

Prediction - After we flush the turd, he will wow a few of the kids and they will be all over his ...... The honeymoon will last less than a season, probably a season cut short to injury or peeing dirty due to one of those 'blue moons'. Then the cancer will strike that team again.

right its not what he said its what he has done,which is quit trying for which there is no excuse.if he was busting his ass i would back him for speaking his mind,but the way he played just shut up and go away.and by the way i was a huge moss fan his whole career and was so excited when we got him.i guess everyone was right about him
