Kiffin on the Sidelines

Ok, I watched a lot of USC games this year but I never really looked to see if Kiffin was on the sidelines and if he was, what type of attitude did he have? was he pumped up, yelling at the players and getting in their face, high-fiving players? Im just asking because you guys know how shell was and watching the saints game on sunday, i loved the way sean payton was getting in his players face and how he was running down the sidelines.

i think Kiffin was up in the booth and Sarkasian was down on the sidelines. I could be wrong though since I didn't watch too many USC games this year.

Kiffin was always in the booth with his headset and pencil.

It really isn't that relevant as long as there are results....there is nothing to suggest that results come from jumping up and down on the sidelines.

For what it's worth, Kiffin is known for having a more fiery (read arrogant, ****y) disposition than the jilted lover Sarkisian.

Some of the NFL's greatest HC's have been stoic on sidelines: Knoll, Landry, Lombardi, Shula, etc.

Being excitable has nothing to do with on the field success.

I'd rather have a coach that will rip into a mofo, if need be. Those coaches you mentioned are great, but so are guys like Parcells, J. Johnson, and Bill Cowher...

True. And last I checked Dungy and Smith (more so) aren't very excitable.

I agree... as long as they get the calls in right, and they work..

Just because you are in the booth doesn't mean you aren't a maniac on the sideline. A wait and see on this one. For what it's worth at least he looked normal doing normal things in the booth. I'm telling ya B&B did things in the booth I have never seen ever on any other team. Kiffin was at least protocol there. lol
