The Texans have the Carr reneg to deal with and if it handled right they'll be dangerous, they always have two playoff teams in their division so that's four games under .500 and Tennessee was almost a playoff team. Playing them early would hurt more, because the South can beat on its own with the running that the Jags and Titans do.
Cleveland may not win a lot but Crennel does enforce a physical style the results of playing the browns usually show up the week after you play them.

All of those away games are against team who play their toughest at home. Florida teams can be twice as bad in weather there(they're used to it, others are not) and the NFC North always has weather/dome field considerations to think about.


I like it. More of a challenge for the team to face. It accelerates Kiffen's learning process and the Raiders will be better for it in time...

That's what I was thinking murder---I thought GEEEZ - that is by no means easy. And Green Bay at Green Bay is always tough. YIKES.

Other than the Colts, Bears, and a strong AFC West, I say we go into many games next year as the favorite. Thats right, i said that about a FORMERLY 2-14 team. At least we know this guy will do his homework and hopefully fire up the Offense

I like it!!! Cause if we do somehow win noone can take anyhting away from us by saying we only made a turn around becuase our schedule is easy. I think the tougher the games the better our players and coaches become all be it that they actually put in some effort.

I agree. I don't see a whole of easy games there. Seems to me we are underrating the Jaguars, Dolphins, etc. a bit...In actuality, it's one of the toughest schedules I've seen for next year so far...

I agree. Jags are TOUGH. They consistently have the toughest defense in the league PLUS it's away. The Dolphins defense has always been solid and with the return of Culpepper should be intersting to watch...Titans (missed playoff by one game, I think) and Vince Young second year should be better.

THAT IS A BRUTAL SCHEDULE for any team....

just the way the cookie crumbles...that happened with the Jets during our success few years back. the jets cried about it.
