Isn't that some technical rule that a OC cant leave a Team for another team for the same position. I know there is ways around it by calling them Asst. Head Coach. They say Bilidick has given McD more responsibilities than he did Mangina. Plus McD sounds cool lol.

That seems to make more sense to me. It also follows more of a logical progression. College QB coach to NFL head coach is much more of a stretch than NFL O.C. to H.C.

Wait for a guy that most likely won't come here. What if Sark gets pissed and truns us down, then we are left with leftovers. I like Macdaniels, but we can't wait around forever.

Well, the FA signing period starts on Feb1. If the Pats go to the SuperBowl, we cant talk to McD until after Feb.4 unless the Pats give us permission. That means we'll be behind the ball trying to fix our o-line via FA.

Al can't know McD's interest otherwise the Pats would have a tampering case against us.
