Though Al has missed on a couple of good young coaches, he has realized his mistakes and is currently trying to amend them. No team would be able to suffer the player losses we have and been able to compete. To suggest that Davis gets a pass is laughable at best. The Raider Nation has never suffered like we have for the last four years, thus we are not used to being the doormat of the league. Why? Because Al Davis in all his years of ownership NEVER let us fall this far and now when at 77, He falters and all of us jump all over him? Thats not what being a Raider is all about. Being a Raider is about Pride and Poise and committing to excelence.l Love the Oakland Raiders because of what Al Davis has made them, the renagades of pro football. When the Raiders yet again reach the NFL's elite I will be there basking in the silver n' black afterglow.
Those 4 picks we got for Gruden should have helped, don't you think?

A lot of teams turn it around in a year or two, but we keep getting worse it seems.

When the team has no competent coaches, no direction, bad management, a lack of communication, and is steadily getting worse...I think criticism is warranted and necessary.

Dissent is a sign of independent thought and is a tool to ensure our team realizes it must evolve, but not necessarily scrap the entire thing.
Couldnt have said it any better
