personally I hope Davis doesn't follow this rule. Just interview and hire who you want regardless of color.

No one is going to accuse Al of being Racist! And, it would make this rule look like the joke that it is when they have to fine the man who hired the first black coach ever.

African American's should be insulted the NFL thinks it needs to force teams to interview them for a HC position. I would rather get an interview based on my own merits. Another stupid rule to go along with many on this planet.

I would like to see them interview James Lofton again, if nothing else for an OC position, he did a good job with little talent at WR in SD.

Its Probably A Non White Descrption, And I Dont Think Its A Big Deal That An Armenian Isn't Counted As A Minority. People Wont Discriminate Against Someone Of The Same Color Skin As Opposed To A Person With Different Skin. Sarkisian is Armenian. Some have argued that Armenians are minorites, others say they are white. Let me set this straight. I have a professor right now who is Armenian. He dedicated a good thirty minutes of class to set straight just what is caucasian and what is white. People of Anglo Saxon or Nordic decent are not Caucasian, they are as white as they come. People who are truly Caucasian are from the Caucases, a region of southern Russia, along the Black Sea, and as Professor Derlugian argued, Armenians are caucasian not white, we do not have pure white skin. It is true, Armenians are of a darker skin tone, one more based in an olive color. Further, I think it stands well and clear that if you were the subject of a genocidal act, then well you constitute a racial minority and judging from the brutal implimentation of a genocidal policy against them, ie the Armenian Genocide (Turkey slaughtered thousands of Armenians and still deny it though the rest of the world sides with Armenia) my best judgement would be to say that though many would not consider the distinction, Sarkisian is not necessarily white and a strong arguement can be made for him being considered a minority. Further, what the heck was somebody saying that ethnicity is geographically based? being Jewish is an ethnicity and their are Jews throughout the world. Anglo-Saxon is an ethnicity, being form Celtic and Roman decent. Nordic is an ethnicity being from German or scandinavian decent. African is an ethnicity, its not geographic its ancesteral and racially based! jeez.

Yes, they will. That is rediculous. Are you saying no African Americans would get interviewed without the rule? How do you know this? That means no African Americans would get hired, teams must have hired them because of the rule to. BS. Not ony that, but what about other minorities?

There was a reason why the rule was introduced. The fact is it WAS a problem before, and it may still be. And like mentioned before its not just Black people, its Hispanic etc.

I understand the rule, if you look to the standpoint that in the fifties and seixties black players were treated like **** i mean for no black players until the late forties in the leagues is a joke, however, this dum ass rule is not the way to solve it
